Leah lives for meeting new people and having new experiences, especially if she can do both while grooving to some live music. Her hope is that this site will help people to make connections with other like-minded individuals and gain some insight about the festival scene. Additionally, she hopes that My Best Fest followers will take some time to read up on how they can help to make our favorite scene a little more green.

Judy

Judy is completely down to earth and is the one who keeps the business end together behind the scenes. As a veteran of the festival scene, she has done it all and seen it all and has lived to tell the tale. Always with a smile, Judy loves to keep it old school, but embraces the modern scene with all the energy and passion that has made her a true best guest at the fest.

The Rev

Considered by some to be the greatest musical spirit guide of the 21st century, The Rev is a man on a mission. His goal is to rid the world of the contrived, profit-driven noise that currently permeates television and radio and promote the unique artists that still care about the passion and energy it takes to make true art. As a veteran of over 30 music festivals and 300 live music events, The Rev is in a perpetual search for music that makes you think, dance, love and feel…and he brings his vast knowledge of the trivial to you free of charge.

The Rundown...

For music lovers, few events bring people together more than a festival. There is a sense of community that is immediately felt upon entering a campground and setting up camp, gathering on the lawns with newly-found friends and reveling in the sights and sounds of the peacefully gathered masses. Whatever your preferred genre of music, there is nothing like being with your friends and family dancing, laughing, loving and enjoying the people and sounds that form the soundtrack of your life.

The idea for My Best Fest was borne of this spirit of camaraderie and love of music. As a site we hope to develop a communal atmosphere where the festival-going crowd can come together and share their thoughts and experiences from each festival they attend. While there are plenty of sites that cater to the ‘jamband’ community, there are few that provide comprehensive details for and about music festivals. Looking to fill this void in the scene, My Best Fest is a user-driven website, where real fans can log in, develop a profile, rate festivals and discuss their experiences and stories with fellow festival-goers.
